Whether you plan to write your own vows or you would like a more traditional ceremony, exchanging your wedding vows is perhaps the most important part of your big day. Whether you choose to have romantic wedding vows or vows with cultural/religious significance, the words that you share to each other should be a reflection of you both as a couple.
Of course your wedding vows aren’t the only part of the ceremony that you need to prepare for, with you having to actually find a venue that the ceremony can be held in. Choosing a venue for your wedding ceremony can be difficult, especially when there are so many good venues out there to choose from.
At Keythorpe Manor we can offer a peaceful wedding ceremony, with our venue being situated in the countryside of East Midlands. We can be easily found on the A47 on Uppingham Road.
Keythorpe Manor currently has two wonderful spaces for your wedding ceremony: the converted Oak Barn and the marquee. We are able to cater for whatever size of wedding it is that you are having, whether it is a small wedding of 100 people or whether it is a wedding that has up to 400 guests.
If you are thinking about having a romantic wedding ceremony then the Oak Barn is the quintessential country venue for you. It offers the perfect combination of rustic elegance and contemporary décor that offers an intimate yet bright and airy celebration space. The glass doors of the Oak Barn also look over the countryside and the terrace area is the perfect space for you and your guests to relax at.
The grand marquee offers a blank canvas for your celebrations, with it being a flexible space that you can create a personalised wedding ceremony. The large windows and French doors that the marquee has overlooks the rolling landscape, creating an idyllic, peaceful atmosphere. The marquee opens up onto the surrounding veranda which is ideal for drink receptions, an outdoor bar or for live cooking stations.
There is plenty of local accommodation for your guests so although it is in the countryside of East Midlands your guests will be able to find somewhere to stay. We can also offer the bridal cottage that you can use as a place to return to at the end of the celebrations or it can be a place where the bridesmaids and the bride prepares in before the ceremony starts.
What sets us apart from other wedding ceremony venues is that we are able to offer something that not a lot of other venues can offer, with us having a helipad where you can make a helicopter landing. Fireworks are also permitted at our venue – allowing you to enjoy a fantastic fireworks display should you wish to do so.
The team at Keythorpe Manor strive to fulfill all of your specific requirements, helping to make your dream wedding day a reality.
